If you play Leafgreen or Firered, here's a good tip for you: First, if you want to catch all of these birds, carry lots of different balls-including poke balls and make sure your pokemon are full of energy as well as high level. Second, if you want to catch articuno, go to seafoam islands and look for it-bring escape ropes OR a diglett/dugtrio that has learned DIG. If you want to bring both just in case, it's up to you. Bring potions too.

Bring potions too.Ok, now for Zapdos go to the place near to the powerplant and go into it you may find those electric type pokemon irritating so don't bring water type pokemon. Bring ground type pokemon along with you and if you are really irritated, buy some repels. And also you must bring potions and balls.
Last but not least, Moltres. This is the hardest bird to capture. It is found in Mount Ember on One Island. No need to bring escape ropes but definitely need to bring potions and maybe repels too. You may encounter either rock, ground or fire type while in this Mountain. So the best type to bring is simple-water type. For this fiesty bird, please don't use a very strong water type pokemon as when I used my blastoise's move Hydro Cannon, Moltres fainted.
But luckily for me, I know what just what to do in battling people you think you will lose or when catching a legendary. I save the game before trying to do what I want to do. Try it. It's worth it as you can turn the Gameboy or DS off when you cannot do it. Good luck.

Here's a little hint: it's the prince of the sea. Catch the movie on youtube or buy the comic book. But it's better if you watch the movie... The comic book misses lots of parts you see. Get the manaphy egg in the DS Diamond and Pearl cartridge.
Eevee has 7 stages of evolution. But only using special stones like THUNDER stone, WATER stone, FIRE stone... etc. But for glaceon, espeon, leafeon and umbreon, it's a different story... Glaceon: train eevee at the route where it is hailing until it levels up.(Tip: use an EXP. share)
Anyway if you want to evolve sneasel, give it a razor claw, train it to the next level or give a rare candy. Magneton: Go to the inside of Mt. Coronet and train magneton until it evolves or give it a rare candy. This goes the same with Nosepass. Trade magmar and electabuzz to get a magmortar and electrivire.
